Welcome to Phil Nicholls Photography
The site cuts a swathe through Phil's 25 year career as a freelance photographer. Much of this time has been in the music industry, including a 12 year stint with music publication, Melody Maker (for more detail see the biog). His work also includes corporate and fashion commissions for clients such as Peter Werth, Nokia Music and The Shaw Trust. December saw the publication of his 3rd book, Savoir Fare London (New York Review of Books), previous titles being Traditional Shops & Restaurants of London and the cult classic, Classic Cafes (Black Dog Publishing) - a study of London's greasy spoon culture. If you'd like to contact Phil to discuss something specific; corporate work, a band shoot or music archive images, fashion work or a wedding, you can get in touch using the 'Contact' link above.
